Frequently asked questions
What exactly is a packet?
A packet is one print-ready PDF containing everything a specific paperwork job requires, in working order: a master checklist first, then each form, worksheet and template with a short briefing before it explaining what it is, when to use it, and the mistake people most often make with it. It is a complete kit for one job — a move, a business launch, a tenancy, a school year — not a single form and not a course.
Why not just download the forms free, one at a time?
You can, and our free guides tell you which ones you need. What the packet adds is the assembly and the judgment: the full set discovered for you, sequenced correctly, with briefings, trackers and inventories that do not exist as standalone forms anywhere. Most people pay for the evenings it saves and the one crucial document they would not have known to look for.
What format are packets delivered in, and how do I print them?
Every packet is a single PDF formatted for standard US Letter paper, black-and-white friendly, with margins that survive home printers. Print the whole packet, or print individual pages as you reach them — the master checklist tells you what you need when. The PDF also works on screen: every form field page is designed to be filled by hand or typed into with any standard PDF reader.
How does ordering and delivery work?
Email your order from the contact page. We reply with a secure payment link, usually within one business day. When payment clears, your packet arrives as a PDF attachment in the same email thread. There is no account to create and nothing to install. Keep the email — it is also how lifetime update editions reach you.
What does "free lifetime updates" mean?
Forms, deadlines and best practice change. When we revise a packet you own, we email you the new edition at no charge, with a short note on what changed. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the product line: as long as Packets Pro sells the packet, owners receive its updates.
What if the packet is wrong for me?
Every purchase carries a 30-day, no-argument guarantee. Email us within 30 days of delivery and we refund you in full to the original payment method. The complete contents of every packet are listed on the packets page before you buy, so surprises should be rare — but the guarantee stands regardless.
Can I use a packet for my business or for clients?
Yes, for your own business operations: a landlord may print the Rental Property Packet's forms for every tenancy; a founder may use the business templates for their own company. What you may not do is resell, redistribute, or give away the packets or their contents, or use them to build a competing product. If you are a professional who wants to supply packets to clients (for example a REALTOR® giving the Moving Packet to buyers), email us — we license that use.
Are the packets legal advice? Will the landlord / business / school accept them?
No packet is legal, tax, medical or financial advice, and none creates an attorney-client or similar relationship. Packets are organizational tools and general-information templates based on standard US practice. Government forms belong to their issuing agencies — where a job needs an official form (a tax form, a state filing), the packet identifies it, explains it, and points you to the official source rather than reproducing a copy that could go stale. Schools, landlords and agencies accept standard, legibly completed documentation; where a body requires its own specific form, the packet's briefings say so. See the disclaimer.
Do you offer packets for countries outside the US?
Not yet. The current catalog is built for United States paperwork — federal and state forms, US school and rental practice, US business formation. The structure travels, but the specifics do not, and we would rather say so than sell a near-miss.
