1. The site and the guides

The free content on this site — guides, checklists, articles and the FAQ — is general information about organizing paperwork. It is provided in good faith and kept current as described on the about page, but it is not professional advice for your specific situation. See the disclaimer, which is part of these terms.

2. Purchases and delivery

Packets are digital products delivered as PDF files by email after payment, at the prices listed on the pricing page at the time of your order. Prices may change for future orders; a completed order is never repriced. Your purchase includes free updated editions of that packet for as long as the product line is sold, delivered to the email address used for the order.

3. Refunds

Every packet carries a 30-day guarantee: email us within 30 days of delivery, from the ordering address, and we refund the full purchase price to the original payment method. After a refund, the license in section 4 ends for that packet.

4. License and limits

Your purchase licenses you to print and use the packet for your own household or your own business operations, as many times as that use requires. You may not resell, redistribute, publish, share or give away the packets or their contents, in whole or in part, nor use them to create a competing product. Supplying packets to your own clients requires a separate professional license — contact us. The free guides on this site may be linked and shared as pages; copying them into other publications requires permission.

5. Intellectual property

Packets Pro, its packets, guides and site content are the copyrighted work of 3000 Studios, except for official government forms and public materials referenced within them, which belong to their issuing bodies. Nothing in a packet transfers ownership of any intellectual property beyond the license in section 4.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse this site: no attempting to disrupt it, scrape it in bulk, misrepresent our products, or use our materials for unlawful purposes. Our templates are written for lawful, fair dealing — in particular, the Rental Property Packet's materials must be used consistently with applicable fair housing and landlord-tenant law.

7. Liability

Packets and guides are provided "as is" as organizational tools. To the maximum extent permitted by law, 3000 Studios is not liable for outcomes arising from decisions you make using them, and our total liability for any claim connected to a purchase is limited to the price you paid for that packet. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one on this page, and material changes will be noted with a new date above. Questions: contact@swain.website.
